Auto te water vanaf fietspad Purmerend

PURMEREND Een auto is vrijdagavond te water geraakt aan de Wheredijk in Purmerend.

De automobilist reed op een fietspad aan de Wheredijk en is nog door onbekende oorzaak met het voertuig te water geraakt, dat meldt de politie.

Het slachtoffer is door de brandweer uit de auto gehaald en overgebracht naar het ziekenhuis. Een traumahelikopter landde ook bij het ongeval, zodat traumapersoneel assistentie kon verlenen.
